Cancellation & Refund Policy

Overview

We aim for fair, fast resolutions. If we can’t safely complete your visit or a platform issue prevents care, we’ll reschedule or refund/credit the visit fee.

What Counts As A Completed Visit

A visit is completed once a provider begins your clinical assessment (video or documented chart work), even if no prescription is issued.

Cancel / Reschedule

  • On-demand queue: cancel anytime before the provider joins → no charge.
  • Scheduled visits: cancel/reschedule ≥2 hours before start → no charge.
  • Inside 2 hours or no-show (≥10 minutes late): visit fee may apply.

Technical Issues

  • Our side: we reschedule at no cost or refund/credit your visit.
  • Patient side: one courtesy reschedule; repeated failures may be billed.

Clinical Appropriateness

If telehealth isn’t appropriate and we end early, we waive or refund the visit fee. Third-party costs (labs, meds, imaging) aren’t covered by us.

Self Pay ($79)

Refundable if canceled before the provider joins or if the visit can’t be completed for clinical/technical reasons. Completed visits are non-refundable.

Insurance Visits

Eligibility checks are estimates; your insurer determines copay/coinsurance/deductible. If a visit isn’t completed, we don’t submit a claim (or we void/correct it). We can’t refund amounts applied by your insurer. Prefer certainty? Choose the $79 cash visit.

MEMBERSHIP (PLUS: $39/mo + $29/visit)

  • Billed monthly; cancel anytime in your portal (active through current cycle).
  • Membership fees already billed are non-refundable; future renewals stop at cancel.
  • $29/visit fees follow the same rules as cash visits.

FAMILY ADD-ON (+$19/mo per additional household member)

  • Billed monthly per added member; each visit is $29 while active.
  • Add/remove anytime; billed fees to date are non-refundable; future renewals stop when removed.

Prescriptions / Labs / Third Parties

Your visit fee covers the evaluation and care plan. Medications, labs, imaging, devices, and in-person services are billed by those providers and aren’t refundable by MyMDPhone. No controlled substances.

EMERGENCIES : Telehealth is not for emergencies. Chest pain, severe trouble breathing, stroke symptoms, severe bleeding, or fainting: call 911.
